Mr. Speed for how long ?
Now did I actually have any plans for the series after a certain bit of time after the first volume? The thing is I never actually wrote the first volume of anything. I know this can be confused to be inspired by Viewitiful Joe and Percy Jackson but ultimately it's not. It's its own thing. I had the idea long before then. Actually comes from me running in the halls in between classes during school.
There was a period of time when it was called Raindrop instead of Mr. Speed because I was like, "That sounds lame." Anyways I just decided that it was better than what I had. Sometimes I would have played Mr. Speed with my Legos but even that story is not even the same as the one shown before. The thing is that this thing is actually a bit older than what I remember it being. That's to say that the story can go to interesting places.
I didn't consider it to be a long-running thing, just like a four-volume thingy. If you want this to be a TV show just have four volumes and that be it. That would be sufficient, is what I was thinking to myself back then. I actually don't know how long I want to make this story but ultimately it has the potential to be a long-lasting story. It's what I knew back then. I just didn't know how to get to that level but now I'm going to create it. I'm going to make it work and ultimately no one will ever see it coming. No one will ever see it as true mastery.
